Medium: Site specific to Real del Monte, Mexico Detritus branches, earth and cast skulls in recycled coffee grounds. Dimensions: 8’W x 7’H x 2.5 ‘ D
Inspired by the tragic death of 26 miners at the Purisima Mine outside of Real del Monte in the 70’s the style of ladders for this installation is designed after the original log ladders used in the early mines.

Viewer interactive installation requiring them to set the bowl of water gently moving which distorts the word “Sin” leaving the static word “Fin” *sin means without while fin means end.
